Jamaica Program

Girls Basketball Worldwide Foundation has been going to Kingston, JA since 2022. Our goal with the work that we are doing there is to provide more opportunities to the girls in that city. We have increased the work there by partnering up with United Boulevard Church to provide school supplies to encourage positive academics. Looking to get invovled with the work we do in Jamaica? Jamaica Trip 2022

Year 1 we were able to work with the girls from Majesty Gardens. After the clinic 3 girls were identified and placed in boarding schools in Jacksonville, FL with scholarships to play basketball!

Jamaica Trip 2023

Year 2 in Kingston, we were able to grow our base of girls that attended and identified one of the girls for the Jr. NBA Global program for girls. Which took 40 girls from around the world to go through a 6 week training on leadership.

United Boulevard Church

GBWF partnered up with the church to provide school supplies as well as go over curriculum from the Winners Win book written by Taneka Rubin.

Jamaica Trip 2024

Year 3 we saw girls for the first time and girls that have been with the program since year 1! Each girl walked away with lasting memories and a basketball to continue working on their skills.

United Boulevard Church 2024

Our continued partnership with United Boulevard Church continues to grow on what we are able to cover when it comes to body image and dealing with conflict.
