About Us
Girls Basketball Worldwide is a non-profit that provides resources for growth and development of youth basketball in underserved countries and cities. Our mission is to build courts, teach technique, and equip local coaches to help grow and develop the game at a fundamental level. We have a volunteer based Board of Directors, all funds go towards programs and materials.

Alexis Watt
Board Member
Alexis believes that education is the most important tool for social change; for communities and individuals alike. She believes that students grow in learning environments that support advocating for self and others through social justice community connections. Alexis's journey as an educator began in Ecuador as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She has 10+ years in the New York City school system and currently works for EL Education as a coach and PD specialist. Alexis lives in Tacoma, Washington with her husband and three daughters.
Alexandria Zamora
Board Member
Alexandria has nearly seven years of experience in Marketing and Sales working for fortune 100 companies. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Fordham University and her graduate degree from Barry University while playing NCAA basketball. Alexandria is a people person with a passion for building community and mentorship.
Chuck Malani
Board Member
Chuck is a technology professional with 23 years of systems development, business analysis, and project leadership experience for a Fortune 100 multinational corporation. He graduated from Florida State University in 2000, earned his MBA from University of Central Florida in 2005, and is currently pursuing his Masters of Athletic Coaching from Florida State. He has coached high school basketball in Orlando since 2014 and serves on the Board for Florida Association of Basketball Coaches. He is a community builder, network connector, and is passionate about servant leadership and helping young people, particularly through coaching basketball. Chuck lives in Winter Park, Florida with his wife, three children and pug Eddie.
Jennifer George
President
Jennifer George founded Girls Basketball Worldwide Foundation with the vision and drive to improve upon our Non-Profit Organization and focus on developing the organization with experience and integrity. A graduate from the University of Florida where she played basketball for 4 years, was drafted in 2013 to the Indiana Fever. She played professionally in Spain, Puerto Rico as well as for the Jamaican National Team until 2018.

Sandria George
Project Manager
Sandria has over 40 years of nursing and leadership experience. She possess strong leadership abilities with the
ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status.
Mentoring, team building and giving back are some of her beliefs in the next
phase of life.
Laura Rodriguez
Strategic Development Director
Laura is a missional minded non-profit professional and creative. She attended Word of Life Bible Institute before graduating from Houston Bible College with her Bachelor’s in Biblical Counseling. It was during this time that she began her professional career working with non profit organizations. Now with 10+ years of leadership experience in management systems she is excited to continue to live life on purpose and help GBWF develop a Strategic Plan to impact many girls worldwide. Laura loves spending her free time reading, writing, and basking in the sunshine on the beach.
